Retail: At the time this watch was produced, the retail was $3995, but if this watch was available today we all know it would be at least $5-6k with inflation and the skyrocketing price of gold.
Model #: 2398.80
Color scheme: Stainless steel case and bracelet with beautiful solid 18K gold components and a beautiful blue dial.
Condition: Very close to new condition. If you buy a new watch and wear it for a week it will probably have more wear than this shows right now.
Deep orange-tipped hands and dial markers still look brand new. Bracelet and clasp are still tight, and if you buy a few Seamasters off Ebay you'll quickly notice this is not often the case. These are the kind of details you'll overlook if you don't know what to look for, but this piece is just impeccible.
Timepiece retains all original finishes - i.e. all the gold is polished and all the stainless surfaces are brushed.
Timepiece employs an automatic, self-winding movement, so a battery is never required.
The pics will never really do this watch justice, so if you like the pics you're just about guaranteed to love the watch.
Case size: 45MM including crown
Total circumference (all measurements are approx.): 7.5" - if you choose to use the built-in diver's extension that will add another 1" to the size (this is a pretty good size, but if you need larger please e-mail me for price/availability of additional links)
